Being bored with the 5D isn't the problem, the same stuff would be out there for you to photograph if you had a 1d mkiii. Maybe you should spend less time at the computer and just force yourself, there's plenty of great photos all around us to be had.
If you must be on the computer how about visiting a webpage that isn't so focused on gear such as www.radiantvista.com, you could also try reading this http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/next-level-2.shtml.
Hope this helps, all the best.

Do you realise just how "absorbing" that shot is? To hell with bikinis (on or off), I know which I prefer,

I actually had an eye opening experience just two days ago regarding "what is there to shoot?" I let my daughter use my camera for a little bit (with great anxiety on my part  ), and I must say, it was very interesting what she thought was "photo worthy", and she actually had some really wonderful ideas! Possibly ask another person what they would take a picture of, if they were holding the camera, and try seeing the landscape through their eyes? Of course, if you do decide that the 5D is just too boring... I'd be more than happy to see if maybe it was more interesting for me ;)

Impose rules on yourself. Portrait only. Tripod only. Things that are blue. All shots must be 1/2 second exposure.
You'd be amazed what joining your local phot club can do for you seeing things a different way. Not that there is one in your are, just for general discussion.

Great, my older daughter is about 6 years old, so she never now what she can shoot or say she can never use any camera, only standing there asking me to shoot her all the time.
Oh, so you want to try my 5D?:p

Wellllll when Michelle (my youngest daughter) was 6, I absolutely doubt I would have let her touch my camera... but she just turned 13, and asked very politely if she could try taking some close up shots (which for a teenager - asking politely must have been an effort in itself!) She has her own Canon p&s, and has actually done some amazing work with it. An idea might be for you to get down to your daughter's level with her, and ask her what she sees - and what she'd like to see her daddy take a picture of? Not only will it possibly give you some new ideas and a new way of viewing the world, but it may also start a love of photography in your next generation.

I understand you pain.
I rarely get inspiration from where I live. I usually get my best shots when I travel outside my area.
I think what he meant was that when you go out and shoot, maybe decide on a theme. That might force you to think outside the box a little since it forces you to be creative because the subject is limited.

Tell me about it, I could earn more working on a checkout at a super market or in a charity shop, but I love cameras and the customers so much that I work at the camera store.
If you let me know you're coming I'll sell you it on staff price (as you're a friend ;)), which is about £500 cheaper than RRP, hence the reason I know the price will come down, staff price is NEVER that much of a deal usually!

JPEG out of the camera, no PP, Resized, 1/100, F2.8, ISO3200, 24-70L used.
Instead of using iso3200 and handheld, try using a tripod, lower iso and longer shutter speed. Expand your horizons with different styles of shots. By slowing down you'll end up concentrating more and you'll improve your knowledge and skills in the process.

i just learn how i can get good photos out of my Camera in fast way, so then someday if i don't have tripod and some asked me to have thier photos then JPEG in low light will be a great idea, and i don't think i can use flash everywhere, thats why i am learning on JPEG out of the camera.

There is so much to shoot everywhere, just not enough time. It doesn't matter where you are. Work on your eyes, get off of the internet, quit obsessing about gear, and learn to see. Go to galleries, buy books with photography in them, look at lots of photos, get inspired.

Anyway, i decided that i shouldn't share photos or asking for help or ideas to shoot, i will enjoy to shoot as before rather than try to shoot for you or others, this way i will have fun, so forgive me if i don't show anything for long time till i can see clearly that i really got great winning shots rather than many wasting shot either good or not.
Thank you for everything and really i like this website and you all so friendly kind, i will keep watching around and hope to share something interesting soon.
