Used 2 Photogenic Powerlight 1250's and a 600 for a background light.

On the first one the background is so bright it looks weird. The edges of her hair look like they're glowing. And I don't see any shadows, so it looks kinda flat to me.

Denny,
I agree with Scottes. Try a different color background and do these shots again. Maybe a light pastel color. The white background just detracts from what would otherwise be a good portrait and makes getting the proper exposure trickier to boot.

Nice 'poses' but bit too unsaturated for My taste esp. first shot.

I cant believe how diff these photos look on my work pc compared to my home pc. I just had my wife pick up a new monitor, mine is over 5 years old and am hoping that will help. I had some printed today and they look just like they do on this site. Amazing how much a monitor can make the pictures look diff.

With new monitor I can see how bad these photos look hard to believe they looked good on my old monitor, Here is some adjustments I made with new monitor, Very little PS work Just some contrast adjustmant.
