A vision of Studley Pike in Calderdale, In this one I have attempted to put my vision of the place, strange and slightly errie, strange flying creatures drawn in by the pike, the odd looking approach the clouds are not made in PS that shape this was the original formation just masked out any other with deep black, the grass I have done in Channel mixer with very high red and green settings and reduce the blue channel to give that infra red look,

welllll.... i can see where you are going with this, but i have to sayi think you went a little overboard on the PP. i think if you turned it down a little, you would have a really good image there. its very dramatic, but i can't really make anything out.

Nice image, although the pike is centered. There are a few lines going toward the pike. I would have tried to exploit those to guide the viewer's attention towards the tower.
Also, I find that the sky gets a bit too dark too quickly. I just wish that the pike would have a paler sky behind it so as to let it pop out.
But I also like the second version better :)
