White-Breasted Nuthatch

White-Breasted Nuthatches, Tufted Titmice, Chickadees and Downy Woodpeckers make me crazy because they are so hyper. They're constantly moving. This White-Breasted Nuthatch actually stood still long enough for me to take several shots. I felt honored. :D:D

I'd go with the latter. He just froze there for about a minute, then remembered what he was going to do and took off.

The bird stands out beautifully against the tree but the angle of his head is starnge. Not the usual profile type, but very nice!

Thanks for the C&C Stephen, Don and downywp. I have to agree with the angle of the head, Don. But I was just grateful he stopped for a minute. So I didn't try to ask him to pose. :lol: ;)
