I am home for spring break and Have been enjoying seeing my friends again! I told Amanda that we should go to the local park and have a photo exploration little did she know that I was going to photograph her! She's an awesome sport at getting her picture taken and it was a lot of fun, I need all the practice I can get so I test everything on my friends :D.
Warning: color/saturation may be off a bit, I'm using my laptop and not sure how the colors behave on this thing.

OK, here are my thoughts:

#1 -- distracting background, boring pose. What is the point of the leaf?

#2 -- same boring pose, subject is dead center of the frame, there's the leaf again, overexposed.

#3 -- best of the bunch. I like it in b/w much better than color.

#4 -- the colors are off, as you suspected. Much better in b/w.

#5 -- we don't know what she is pointing at so it doesn't make any sense.

#6 -- distracting background, foot cut off, foot that is visible is in a very unnatural position.

You asked for CC! ;-)

Thanks hawk. I have some more that I'll wait to PP cause the colors are off on this dang thing.

Thanks Twalker! I appreciate it... I easily overlooked all that stuff you pointed out, as for the leaf...She was just being silly

#3 in B&W is best but would crop the top and left side. The color seems a little "unnatural" in the others.

I agree with the others, the b/w in number three is very stunning; it works nicely with the shallow DOF and smooth bokeh. Her pointing gesture in 5 is a bit awkward, as is her pose with the leaf. They're nice efforts, but it seems that the pose throws off the otherwise sound captures.

Thanks for the comments guys! #3 is my favorite as well, I will look into some different crops.

nice shots. but I think there's too much headroom in the photos. crop it down a little.

I like 3, 4 and 5 the best (because of the pose). I like 3 over 4, because the colours in 4 look a bit over saturated and I think thinking red-green-blue.
