I am taking a studio/portrait class at a local college. The assingment is to shot a still life. I want to shot something with Harley Davidson. The item must be around the size for a table top studio or something around there. I have full access to anything that Harley Davidson makes. So I want to post the question... What should I shot?
I was thinking about a helmet. A chrome/reflected one. Any ideas? Also I would like to have things in the background that relate. For the object that I will shot, I want to have something rough looking to put it on. I was thinking of a wood palate or something.
Please any ideas you can share or think of would be awsome. Thanks in advance!

i dont know where u are but i think it would be cool
is you put the helmet in the middle of the road with the road visible beyond the helmet and then having a reflection of the harley in the chrome helmet
kinda hard to rig it without using photoshop
:D
just me 2c

I think the point of the assignment is for you to come up with something to shoot...not us.

Sounds like you already have your idea, Timothy.

Go for it and see how it works! (Don't forget to use a circular polariser for the reflections, though.)

I think the point of a Forum is to get advice, and ask questions.
Thanks everyone else for the tips and ideas.
