Getting songs out of Napster

I downloaded Napster so I could download some cheap music, but now found that it's hard to transfer the music out of napster (I was a bit nieve in thinking that I'd be able to find the mp3s on my system somewhere).

Anyone know how I can get the mp3s out of napster, or do I have to burn CDs and then rip them again?

Probably the Latter, Just like how you have to do that for iTunes songs, if you buy them.

I found them. They turned up in my "My Music" folder after a bit of a delay. In any case, I'll have to either burn them to a CD or strip off the DRM to get them onto my Zune.

Instead of using Napster, subscribe to usenet and download there.

find a program that does a live recording of what's being sent through your sound card, there are many programs out here, I recommed My Mp3, the site is mp3mymp3.com. It works pretty well, is very easy to use and best of all is free. The only downside is that you have to listen to each song to get it ripped, there are programs out there that can strip the DRM i'm sure, i just don't know any off hand cause I never have to deal with it. good luck.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah, I saw a re-recording option, but not too sure about the audio quality for that one. I'm really wanting a way of transferring the music I've bought through Napster onto the Zune. I've since learnt that the DRM method used is incompatible with the Zune, so I'll just have to use the burn & rip method.

No more comments about piracy methods though, please...

i once made a slide show of my pics from a trip to show my family, i wanted to add a song so my wife picked one from our CD collection and when I tried to add it, the program wouldnt let me... so i had to go download the song off Limewire and use that copy... What the hell, i tried to use the CD version i paid for and couldnt so I had to use a downloadd file of the net... ya try to do the right thing... "Every time I try to get out, They pull me back in"
