View Full Version : I'm sure this Goose expected open water!

The migrating Canada Geese have begun their arrival here. It is that time of year when most of us are actually excited to see, hear and photograph them!:lol: This one was by itself when it landed on the frozen pond. It was likely swimming in open water and basking in warm(er) weather a week ago!:rolleyes: This is what the "early birds" get when migrating north so quickly...

Good catch Dan. I've been kind of wondering where they all are. We have had a few through here, small groups only. Now that the ice is all gone, I expected to see many, many more, but noooo..... :D

Hmmm guess I`ll be different and say that I prefered #1, kind of gives the immpression he is desperately trying to balance himself while thinking "whoa wasn`t expecting this".......Yeah maybe Ive got a vivid imagination.
