Hello all. Mum asked me to take a few garden maintenance themed pictures to send as a present to a friend of hers, husband (who owns a garden maintenance company)

Can you give me some critic on these shots please. The first 4 images are HDR while the rest are just a standard exposure.

Thanks

I like the shots to, perhaps you could try a sepia filter over the b&w shot, give them an oldie worldie kind of look. Just a thought.

I love the composition of the wheelbarrow pic. I think the comp of the pitch-fork, coffee mug, shoes, and bench looks a little too spread out. I would lose the shoes in this comp and maybe put some gardening gloves hanging off the edge of the bench or something. It just seems a little odd having the boots in that comp (for me at least).

The light is too bright in the flower pic. If you have any diffusers to shoot that again it would probably turn out a little better.

The close ups of the boot take the focus off the true subjects of your photos: the gardening gear.

Overall, I prefer the color pics as gardening is supposed to be green and colorful and warm. Your color pics do that theme justice. Your wheelbarrow comp is perfect, but like I said I might just work on the others.
