Hi
I saw an article today in Outdoor Photographer regarding adding your name to the camera's settings, so the metadata for each image has your name in it, along with copyright phrases. I have tried following his directions, but something isn't adding up. The article says to launch Canon EOS Viewer Utility software (mine says just EOS Utility) and go into camera settings....which I did. It then says to put your name in the field "Owner's Name". Well that option isn't showing up for me in the Basic settings. I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where/how to do this? Just thought it would be fun to put my name in my images.

Thanks for any help

Ruth

After clicking on "Camera Setting", an EOS 30D window will pop up (the other window will disappear). At the bottom right corner of the window is a wrech and hammer icon. Click on that icon and a couple of settable fields will appear underneath the window, one of them being Owner's Name. Click on Owner's Name and then enter your name in the editable field that pops up. Click OK when done and you're all set.
