I had a problem with my Delkin Devices 512 MB CF card today - I had 74 RAW images from my 10D on it, and when I tried to copy the images from the card to my computer using my card reader, there was one CRW file that couldn't be copied. So I tried copying the file directly from the camera, but I got ERR 02.
Did something like that happen to you? Does my CF card have a bad spot? How can I test it, is there software available to test CF cards?

It sounds like your CF card may have developed a problem. First, I would try some CF card recovery software on it. Possibly you will recover the files intact.
Once that is done, you want to do some full reformatting on the CF card, not quick format. If you are lucky, you can repair it that way.
If all else fails and the card stays unreadable, then chuck it into the trash can and don't look back. It makes a good case for having multiple CF cards so that you don't have all of your eggs in one basket, so to speak.

Jesper: How often do you format your cards?

It was only one of the 74 CRW files on the card that caused the problem. I've already deleted it...
I always format the card when I want to make it empty (i.e., I'm not doing "delete all", but I'm formatting it), and I always format it in the camera.
I now tested it by formatting it on the computer and copying it full with files, and then copied the files back from the card to the computer. There were no errors. Looks like the card is OK now. Did my 10D have a glitch when it was writing the bad file to the card?

I had the same problem with the Delkin 640Pro. Sent it in to Delkin and they replaced it for free. They have a live time warranty.
Best of luck
