I used a couple of 10D's to shoot a wedding recently. Both bodies were time synced to my Mac's date and time before the event. I want to sort the resulting shots, which are now grouped into folders by Compact Flash card id. #s (a trouble-shooting safeguard) into "time shot" order. I want to see the whole take in the order each image was shot, no matter which body was in use. One body (mine) was updated to the latest firm-ware, the other body had earlier firmware. For the purposes of my current question, they seem to have behaved identically.
The CS File Browser doesn't seem to get the "time shot" info from the camera properly, or at least, consistently. If you look at "details" of the thumbnails, the "date created" area is blank, and the "date modified" area shows the correct date, but exactly 5 hours behind. This same error appears if you check the Metadata-File Properties palette. The Camera Date/Exif area, however, shows the correct time in military form.
What's happening? I'm a beginner in Photoshop and I'm confused...
