I don't know what to make of the overall color in the first two shots. The left image seems to be a duotone and the second image just seems to have poor White Balance.
The left image has reasonably good composition and interest, but the
south end of a pigeon going north is not my cup of tea. Sorry!
The second image is not so good in compostion - the tail feathers are just too close to the border, and the scene has the appearance of an uncorrected downward tilt to the left.
The third image has a lot going for it. Higher interest, good composition and realistic looking color balance.
The 4th image is too static - low in interest.
I would advise reading the suggestions for posting on this forum. Two images per posting and try to avoid making the viewer scroll around to find the images.
Interesting set of images - I like #3. Thanks for sharing!

Ah, I forgot the rule, I thought it was 2 if you upload it to the site, and up to 8 if you embed them. Must had been for thread though.

Great photos first off. The lighting is really quite beautiful.
The first shot is pleasing as part of the series. I am wishing that the bird would turn slightly left and have its head perp to the axis of the lens, this would have made a great shot. Composition is pretty good, maybe try not to chop off the table. I like the duotone.
The second shot offers a much better view of the bird, but the chess table is not really an element any more. A slightly higher angle including more of the board would have been nice. Leveling the camera would also help. I like the cyanotype feel.
The third shot is the most visually grasping of them with a nice moment caught. Camera is a bit cocked though, which detracts from the shot. I might make this one straight duotone as well and remove the rest of the color.
The fourth shot is really pretty attractive, color is nice, contrast is beautiful, oof is nice as well. I might crop the bird slightly more off center.
All in all, i would consider increasing your DOF slightly and getting the other chess tables a bit more distinguishable, giving more of a sense of abandon here Number 2 could really be a great shot if it took those elements into account.
With a bit different camera work, number 2 could really be an absolutely beautiful shot, but as it stands, is simply just beautiful with a couple of flaws. Really great images, i enjoyed viewing them!
(ps, the posting for the critique forum is really unlimited as it is not in the sharing section, you are fine with 4)

the second is my fav, eventhough it's not a great picture, it goes along so well with the title.
