Canon 10D

Okay, so I have been debating on what camera I was going to buy...

I finally found the one that I want. I talked to some friends of mine and as opposed to the XTi, Im getting a 10D...

Any thoughts?

I purchased a 10D as a backup camera, used it almost exclusively in one of my last studio sessions and it made the grade. Good glass and good technique win out over MP almost any day!

Way wrong forum.. but I love my 10D... infact when I sold my 1D MKII(long story... hey I got alienbee's with the $$) I went BACK to a 10D. Ditto what Mill Said. And I use it mainly for portraits and I do prints with the guy all the time. 10D's a great camera and super cheap now.. got my latest one for $350. That XTI is gonna run your $600+.

If they were the same price NOW.. i'd get the XTI just because it has Digic II and 10mp's. But sh*t.. for the budget the 10D is a phenominal camera.
