When I first looked at this it was all white in one corner with no discernable detail due to an over exposure, I thought it was one for the recycle bin. I Photoshopped it and got back the detail, now it looks a bit solarized...interesting affect?

I can't really put my finger on why but I'm not really impressed by this process, it makes it look cheap. Frankly if you're thinking about binning a shot then do it, the less amount of time you try to take salvaging a bad shot the more time you have to take good shots.

Well...other than this was taken at about 80 feet underwater after a 6 hour car trip and hour and a half boat ride...wanted to see if I could salvage it so I didn't waste it.

Having flown A-4s off of her during the Vietnam love fest I hate to see her in her present condition.

Better than in an Indian graving yard being turned into razor blades! Wish I could dive the subs I served on, but they met that fate.

No criticizm intended, and you are correct about the graving yard.
I remember a controversy about the Oriskeny 15 years or so ago when a Japanese group wanted her for a museum. Many WWII vets felt this was blasphemy and it never happened.

I agree here, if you even think of dumping it, something deep in you is saying something to you. Dump it.
