There is a © brush in photoshop. It is in the custom shape tool right under the text tool. Select that then go to the top of PS and click the arrow next to "shape". Should be near the bottom.

I have never used that photoshop before. Screen shots taken in CS2, hopefully they might help. I don't imagine photoshop would leave out basic symbols. Try using the help page in PS. That is how I found a lot of things I couldn't find.

I can ©©© all day outside of PS. In a text field in PS it has never worked though??? So I just use the symbol on the rare occasion I need it. In using the symbol you also have more control over its size among other things. Not arguing, just showing how I do it.;)

click the text type tool in photoshop, position your cursor, hold down ALT and type in 0169 as everyone has said then release the ALT key..
Et Voila
For the avoidance of doubt....the toolbar to the left of your screen.

If worse comes to worse and that version of photoshop doesn't have any symbols, use Microsoft works. Go to insert>special character>special character>© symbol. Adjust to the size you want, then copy and paste it into a text field in photoshop. It is ghetto, but it works just fine.

Copy and paste! Take all of the © symbols from this thread and just paste them into the textbox! That's how I do it anyway because it's not like I'm remembering the alt trick hehe

What photoshop are you using? Is it elements?
Simple answer is by VES posted above. Copy the symbol from this thread, and paste it into the text box used for the url.

Using the alt 0169 doesn't work with all fonts.
Now a trick is to use a text color white, give the layer a nice bevel and a multiply blend - walla a watermark

When using the Alt+0169 you must use the numeric keypad on right side of your keyboard not the numbers above the letters...

I'm using Photoshop Elements 3, and just figured out why I couldn't get the © symbol either: I was using the number keys along the top of the key board, and not the key pad to the right  . Now it works great!!!
