First off, Kudos to you crawling into the pipe with your camera. You're a brave soul. Second, the first shot seems a bit blurry, but I like the composition. Did you use the camera standard flash on the 2nd?

hah thanks. the 1st shot came pretty oof because i had like a foot of water behind me. so it was rather hard to not move. i think if the shot was in focus it would be a rather good one. And on the second camrea, no flash at all. i used rendering in cs2 tho.

I like the concept of the first shot, it would look great if it weren't blurry. Gotta go back there and reshoot! :)

I quite like the blurryness of #1 - it adds something of an 'unorthodox' feel that fits in well with the child's feet.

i really really really really (get the idea?) like your first shot derek. never mind that it's blurry.. ( actually don't take my word for it, i'm viewing it from a pretty poor res monitor) as it makes my mind wander. what you've done with the color tone is great, it encompasses a mysterious cinematic mood - belonging to an indie movie, exploring the dramas of teen life perhaps? sex, suicide, drugs, abuse in a small country town? *shrug* yea, my mind wanders. :)

i really like what your wrote. coming from a 13 year old, all that crap goes on and it happens in a normal teenager. never really thought of that. now bringing it to my mind. it makes me think of a lost soul sitting there, wondering what to do. take his.. or another.
