i agree with ajbalzic. i have seen pictures that made we spit mountain dew out my nose. But this is the first picture that made me hit my head on the desk ducking that prop. AWESOME the pilot is even looking us right in the eye.

why is the location classified?

It's a joke. It's pretty easy to tell where it was shot at. Plus he has the leather helmet on, so he was also probably being filmed for the movie Thunder Over Reno.

Also, awesome shot.

Right now the plane is in Reno with no engine in it.

Is that a corsair a4u ? chance vought if my memory serves me
it is slowly coming back after all the pain meds last year ....

The deal is not so much that it's at Reno but where "ON" the course it was taken. Typically the planes never fly over your head....

That's my old trick!....was this shot on the ground perhaps? and then cropped and tilted for the effect of feeling like it was shot in mid air?

Not that it matters, the result is stunning.....nice shot.
