Does anyone have any suggestions for business cards?

*especially about printing, where abouts (online) are the best places... ect

Thanks!

**if you have demos to share that'd be awsome too!

There have been lots of discussions on this subject in the past. Here is the results of a search on here.

Search "business cards" (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/search.php?searchid=2317015&pp=30)

Some are not specifically related to what you are asking for but if you go through these 17 pages of results you will probably find what you are looking for.

Second Overnight prints and Vistaprint. Vistaprint has a 75% off special until 3/31 if you're ready to pull the trigger and get some cards. The URL us:

I just got mine in, you pay for your own design and extra features. Came to about $20 for 500 cards, shipping and uploading my own image. No other upgrades, they look good - perfect for my generic 'handout' cards.

Mpix is having a 50% sale through March 31. 100 cards cost $10.00 , 1000 cards cost $50.00. There is a slight charge to make the front glossy and you can have printing on the back at no additonal charge. Shipping is $4.95 regardless of how many cards you order. You can order in lots of 100, up to 1000. I don't need 1000 cards but at that price why risk needing more at a higher price.

the advantage of the mpix sale is the different materials available. but thats the same price as overnightprints, so they're more expensive normally, and with overnightprints you get free uv glossy coating and or rounded corners (I don't reccommend the rounded corners)

with the uv coating, you can't really write on the card anymore, which can be a pain, so I try and leave 1 side as plain (I do double sided for $5 more)

Be careful about small, contrasty white lettering on a solid color background on Overnight prints cards, I designed a webpage/business card combo for a client last year and Overnight didn't handle the very small print very well at all. Of course I don't hold that against them (others that use the same printing process could very well have the same problem), everything else looked great. Just wish they would have notified me of the issue before the whole run was sent out.

I like Vista Print. I don't know how many cards I have at this point; maybe hree or four thousand, and I've only paid the shipping on them because they're always running "Free for the next 72 hours!" types of sales.

I got cards, calendar magnets, business card magnets, address labels; the works. For everything I've gotten from them, I know I've spent less than $150.00...
