Didn't even try really. Looked out my truck window while in a parking lot and saw the moon. Put the 70-200 on and took 1 shot, which was around 4pm.

It would make a nice simple pc background. I like the way it is in the corner instead of centered.

Very Nice Moon Shot I did the same thing when I got home from work .. I often wonder if others look or take photos of the moon the same time I do? Too Cool!

Thanks guys. I had to use a noise reduction as it showed pretty bad at iso400. And yea, said no way am i centering it like all the other moon shots i've taken.

Love the blue in this photo. It looks real, but unreal at the same time - if that makes any sense.

im hoping the weather stays like this and i can get a full moon shot. Moon was out earlier today at 2pm.
