This is a 6 frame shot of Bobby, 12, doing a switch fs 180 over gap. I know there is more possabilities to improve the PS work on this shot but I enjoy it for my first. On the first one I went for a yellowish-green color kind of like Emerica's picture adds in the mags. IMO it makes the whole picture come together to make an eye catching stlye. Any idea how to make a gif in PS?

Very nice, Cronu. There are some kinks though around the 4th figure from the left. Good job nonetheless. I really admire the athleticism involved in skateboarding. Though skateboarding has urban roots, I find it unfortunate that somehow it isn't recognized as a legitimate sport by some.

Thanks, I was gonna work on those kinks but I was so anticipated with the picture getting completed and decided i kind of liked the chopped look it has to it. The more i looked at it the more it appeared as a flash of 6 captures in one frame with a sense of rapid motion.
I dont think that most skateboarders get too upset about labeling them outside of normal sports catagories. Its more of never ending self-challange that we just love to do. IMO I think skateboarder's general attitude towards people that look down on their hobby is; "I dont need you or any teammates to tell me what is considered an actual sport or how to play it!!!" and then forget about it.

im not trying to burst your bubble but these aren't straight out of a skate mag. definitely get some flashes going. im loving the "emerica style" picture though, how did you do it, just adjust some curves?
ps: angel is sick!
edit: just took a deeper look at the sequence, you've got a few glitches. youve gotta line up each picture perfectly. if you didnt use a tripod or dont have one try and rest it on a flat surface so you dont move the camera.
a tip while merging photos in PS, copy one picture, past it, turn down the opacity so you can see through the one you just pasted and line it up that way.

That is a sick view for a skatepark, I bet with some flashes at night with tha city lights in the background could make for some nice shots! thanks
