That's the problem! I live in the sticks and don't have a photo store anywhere near me! :lol: I just ordered a few new backdrops from B&H and of course I forgot to order a gray card. Duh.

your palm is 1 stop brighter than 18% gray - so just underexpose by 1 stop.

I have two microfiber cloths that are 18% gray. I just use those.
