I think a color other than green for the background would work well here.
The background is very distracting for me.
I think the exposure of the bottle turned out nice though.
My fee for this review: your photo's subject. I am at work please mail it there.

I've seen Heineken ads. I just don't remember the blinding green. This looks like a posterboard background - the neon green type. A more subdued green and I think you would nail it. It really is insanely bright.

Ill admit its a little bright !!!
It was white foamboard with a green gelled light on it..
close guess though !!!
I want to try other things, more creative, but first step was to get this down
properly, Next time Ive a bunch of rad ideas that are more subdued in
background...

I actually like the bright green. It catches your eye.
However, I think the green light cast a green tint on your bottle. If you use photoshop to "whiten" up the bottle, especially the labels, it should look cherry.

thanks !!
the wall that the green light is on is a good 20 feet away from the bottle,
and the walls and ceiling are black. You might be seeing some through the bottle, but its not reflecting or picking up any green on the sides or front.
Thanks though, ill try to lighten it up a bit sometime !!!

great photo and that is the ONLY dutch word you will ever need to learn "Heineken".
For the water try using 'Light Corn syrup' for the large drops (use tooth pick or long needle to apply) and mix like 50/50 of water and corn syrup in a small spray bottle (like perfume bottle for finer water droplets) and really water for the runny water look.
Again Nice Photo

I've also heard Glycerin and water in a spray bottle for water droplets that stick and glob up nicely.
However, I've read a lot of these fake food techniques, I think most beer is shot at room temperature in a bucket of fake acrylic ice. Add the glycerin or corn syrup drops as Graeme said. Not as appealing now.. :(
