I'm trying to locate 8x10 photo paper by Canon and am having a tough time finding them. Is the idea instead to print an 8X10 image on 8.5x11 paper, then trim?

If you have a good source where I can buy Canon 8x10 Glossy and Matte finish paper, please supply a link... I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,

Inkjet paper comes in 8 1/2 x 11. I don't bother to trim usually - it doesn't show behind the mat anyway.

if your going to frame your pic, the standard canon paper is acceptable, because its behind the matt.

I use Canon PHoto paper pro and i wouldnt change it for anything. If you are set in using your set dimensions, buy a cutting board.

I have a Canon I950 and I use Red River paper (www.redriver.com), they have the best looking paper I have used and they come in 8x10. Polar Satin 62 lb is what I use.

I'm not sure that I prefer it but I like it just as much plus it is cheaper, they have icc profiles for their papers and several models of printers (mine included).

You can go to their web page and buy a sampler pack (2 letter sized sheets of every paper they offer) for like $5 or something like that plus shipping from Dallas, I encourage you to try it at least.
