Is there any way to keep some consistence ??

There are threads started in this forum about prices that have been moved to the Market Watch forum, anothers still live here for a while. Some post already published inside of a thread about the price of the 1D MkIII taking out (or not checked) and started as new thread (duplicates) !!

Is it possible to keep all the post about the price oif the 1D Mk III in just one thread and in one forum ??

I think in this way is more esasy for everybody to follow the evolution.

Thanks

Well I have merged several price threads the past few days. But unfortunately some users do not look or search.

We merge and move as fast as we can, but there are a lot more of you misposting than there are of us trying to clean up. Right now there are over 100 users on line for every mod total. And there are almost 100,000 registered members and 300,000 threads for the 15 of us to try to ride herd on. Sometimes there are more critical things (like canning spam and spammers) than merging overlapping threads.

Yeah Juan it's possible, but it's damn tiring and difficult with four MKIII threads per minute being posted ad nauseum.. ( I notice you've started a few Price/release threads out side of the main stickied MkIII thread yourself by the way)

All you've done is ask us to do what we continue to try and keep up with while so many others blaze away with total disregard..

It's simply the facts of life with a busy forum and new members everyday.

So while your busy telling us how to run things, why not consider taking the appropriate steps yourself, like a PM to a Mod, a reported post, or at the very least posting you whine session in the right forum.
What did this have to do with EOS cameras?

Or was the intention not to help improve conditions but to make as much of a public statement of your distaste?

CDS,

Please take it with a grain of salt ... I feel you a little aggressive.

Got it the message and apologize.

I understand itīs difficult to keep in order a busy forum like this. For that reason I appreciate your work

I am not trying to create any conflict or search for any publicity or whatever at all. I donīt wanted and I donīt need it. I just say what I have said because I think is easier for all to look or search for price related matters about the 1D Mk III if all are in the same thread. Period.

I did sent already a private message to modīs about this before without any answer and any result.

And yes, at the end I am also guilty to post in the same/others thread in the wrong forum like others , but as I said in the private message to the board, if that threads were not there (or kept there for long time), the rest of the people would post in the wright place (Sticky thread about 1D MkIII, Market Watch Forum or where you decide).

FOR THE REST:

I am not anti- 1D3 (I want to buy one) neither anti-mod, all the way around. Sometimes I do not understand how the people can understand the reverse of what itīs expressed. (In my land we usually say: search for the three legs of the cat)

If somebody gets itchy, I am sorry, it is no my intention.

Long happy life and beers for all !! :) :) :)

CDS, Be careful - you know that the next performace reviews are due to come around soon. I THINK you might not get that raise you were looking forward too. After all, we pay you to be all knowing, all powerful and ever present.

Mods, can we move all the Misposters into the misposted section and then watch them go nuts as they frantically search in all the wrong forums for their mispost?

Most traditional sayings mean little to outlanders.

I'm now on my third citizenship, and am fairly adaptable ( had to be) but find some of the UK language foibles bizarre to say the least - and I'm a native speaker!

Is it true, i read an interview in Playboy, with Hugh laurie (DR. House) and he says the the word "Quite" has a different meaning in England? So if I were to say to someone from the UK, "your photos are Quite nice" it would be like saying "Youre Photos arent that good".. is this true?

Erm... No.

(although it's like any other phrase, it all depends on where the emphasis is placed - and the expression on the face of the person saying it!)

Here in Georgia, when people say "Your picture is so plain" it's a compliment.
Translation: Clear and in-focus.
