Just so you don't write off the 10D, this is the aftermath image (literally a few seconds later) taken with my 10D, 100-400L at 170mm, 1/180, ISO100. No time to check any settings, it was a case of frame the picture and shoot. I had a feeling that they were close enough and as you can see the results are good enough.

Nice! Those cars look too cool.. :( It's a shame to see them getting knocked about :(

LOL The cars looked so much bigger in the other shots (the one shot with the 300 prime). It wasn't until I saw them scaled to a person that I realized how much smaller they actually are. :)
