OK, I've never used EE, but now have a need for it. I poked around but couldn't find instructions for a clean install of the latest version. Is this possible? Do I have to install an older version and then upgrade it? Please give me a little help. Thanks.

yes, currently, you have to do a complete install of the last v1.5 (i think it is 1.5RC4)... get it installed completely and working before attempting the upgrade to the v2.xx stuff... everything must work properly in v1.5 before you continue...this means even uploading some photos to ensure that you do have a working (test) install...

Hi people

Have read the comlete forum and cun't find the anwser. Try to install 1.5 on two independent servers and got the same error

did you edit /add/connect.php to have the proper information for the sql server, database, user and password?
