I've seen some great cloud pictures over the years and it can't be just my eye so let all show our clouds looking creative. NO MANIPULATION PLEASE!
I'll start with Britannia.

JPEG, straight out of a not-very-good point and shoot camera (Toshiba PDR-M700). Taken in 2005. A mix of sunset and clouds. I just love the sun flare :)

Here is the nearest I can get to that where I live. It used to contain corse fish like carp, tench, roach, rudd and bream. Not quite on par. :(

This is the one I have at hand. I really like it because of the color range. The clouds were high enough so that the setting sun could reflect its reddish light from below, rather than through them.

I have one cool photo of clouds and sunrise from a cross=country flight, but I am too lazy to change computers and look for it right now.

I'm using Faststone Image viewer to make the drop shadow; select background in the drop shadow menu then set Red to 238, Green to 238, and the Blue to 237. That's it. That will give you the same background colour of POTN.

Ah, so no mysterious trickery or anything? Just sampled the background color, and used that as the image BG? Hmmm.. too easy ;)

OK, this one is edited, because of the angle I was taking a picture of the flags from behind, so they were backward, so all I did was flip it, no color manipulations or anything, just a simple flip.

I was at work, all I had on me was an old 1MP Mavica.
