This is 'Rugby Sevens' weekend here in HK, thought I would try out a pretty difficult HDR. The lights of the stadium make this quite extreme...
c&c welcomed!

Thank you Vinni. Ive been experimenting with HDR stuff with mixed results. I think I tend to overdo things, Im working on my composition and levels.

That is fantastic, a great composition and with the dark sky and the brighter green foreground the HDR works really well.
Everyone should look at the larger version because the small one does not do it justice.
Michael.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Ive been experimenting with HDR for some time, and as I posted, this was the most challenging attempt so far. The result and your comments are certainly motivation to do more! Thanks again.

very good hdr picture, but I thin that clouds are too dark, everythin else is awesome :)

Amazing, the only criticism I would give, but bare in mind I am a newby, is that maybe the mountains would look better dissapearing into the clouds?

Where the heck were you standing? That is wonderful! And so sharp. Congratulations. I'll be HK maybe next summer so I'll have to get together with you to talk "Canonese" ;)

It honestly looks like the stadium is in a forrest. Great capture though! I love the angle you shot this at as well. Nice use of HDR.

PLEASE put this up on Flickr and get it Dugg. People need to see what HDR is really meant for.
Excellent image.

Thanks everyone again for the kind words!
Topalov Djura - actually it was getting quite overcast and dark, but I can see your point about the clouds.
Suzyview - I was in a pretty simple location, it just looks quite insane because the building is on the edge of this huge green area. I PP'd this image small but will get a larger one done for you. I had a PM saying I should add a Sig to this image, I dont even HAVE a sig! Anyway thanks for the kindness and I will get in touch to send you the large file shortly.
Oh, and do let me know when you come out here, there is so much to see and do! (Aside from Learning Canonese!) Summers can get incredibly hot and humid tho (33C, 99% humidity) so do keep that in mind.
nburwell - thank you! :) Actually the stadium IS kinda in a forest from the back side (the side I shot from)
bieber - the image is on flickr HERE (http://www.flickr.com/photos/yourescreened/441302129/) but I dont have an idea how to get it dugg?
derekpb - CS2 does have a 'merge to hdr' feature, but photomatix is far better IMO.
vegasboy/mystixel - as replied to Suzy, I pp'd this image for a small size, I'll get the larger one done and post it.
Thanks again everyone for the c&c!

fantastic perspective and the composition is great....I do think you've overdone the HDR though, it should be more subtle than that, the image has a plastic look about it. If you look at Duder's work on here you'll see what I mean. I love to see another subtler version.
