I think the word you were looking for was "natural" or "accurate". The shot was taken in Britain in March. We don't do bright colours in this country until late May or possibly June.

How true is that. Today I went out to try out my new lens a sigma 50-500mm. The weather was not good over here grey skys the works.

Thanks for the comments, it was a litle bright... but nothing in my opinion to make the colours jump out at me. I did think maybe it was a problem with my monitor.
