I found this little Jumping spider in a broken glass jar in the park. I was planning on picking up the jar to put it in the trash when I saw this guy hanging out inside it. He was nice enough to let me take a few shots before moving on. C&C Welcome.

kentucky Jumper, cute as pie. Looks to have some glitzy fangs despite his overall drab colour. #2 works better for me as the flash reflections in #1 are too central in the eyes.

Thanks Racketman! He really did have some very bright green fangs. I wish they would have turned out better on the second shot.

Thanks Brian! He did look a little shocked when the lens came through the front of the jar!

Thanks Mark! It was kind of strange having it lighting come from below him. The trueth of the matter is that I flipped the image for your viewing pleasure. :) I had a few poeple I know tell me it was disturbing to see it hanging upside down.

Thanks Everyone for the nice comments! :) It makes me feel good to finaly get a few nice shots that others can enjoy. I didn't think shooting macro would be this hard until I tried it. It makes me respect the work others do all that much more.
