Hi

Had my first bash at taking some surf shots today. Sea was a little small and blown-out. The guys where quite a long wayout so these have been cropped a bit.

Hope to get down there again soon... hopefully the waves will be bigger and cleaner :D

Where are you located?

If on the West Coast USA there will be much more swell activity coming over the next few days...

Nice action. I wonder if you couldn't make the subject "pop" a little more by boosting the contrast.

It was a pretty overcast kind of day... :lol:

Taken on perrinporth beach in cornwall england. A bit of added Contrast & a little extra saturation. You seem to loose the wave detail real quick when playing around...

Your off to a good start, i had my first attempt when i visited my mum in St Ives new year 2006, wish i still live down there i would be shooting surf every day

i had the opposite too close for the lens i was using
