Personally I don't like it; you've photographed a flower that stands out because of its bright, vivid colour... and taken that colour away. The lack of a complete petal at the bottom of the image doesn't do much for me either.

Don't apologize, thats why I asked for C&C, I wont get better if everyone says "Great Shot" if it really isn't.

I quite like it, shame you cut off the petal on the bottom of the shot. It makes a change to see the texture of the flower when normally you are hit by the bright yellow. Well done.

Redid the PP on this and didnt cut off the petal this time...

I prefer the second B/W with the petal on, but for me the yellow is what makes the dafodil, maybe introduce that into the B/W image, but leaving the green out!
