Okay, let me start by saying that this is my first attempt at shooting an airshow and I frankly sucked at it. Hopefully it will be a learning experience. Here are the ones I thought presentable enough to salvage from too much dreck, though:

These are not bad at all. I do understand how you feel though. I've been to a few air shows myself and I can't seem to figure out how to get the sharp, clear pictures that others get. I'm sure it's all practice.
Thanks for posting these shots! :D

These aren't bad...but these and about 20 others are all I think are presentable. And I took something on the order of ONE THOUSAND pictures... :-(

Love the last one - f15, f16, f86, p51 all together, what a sight.

With all the white lenses I saw at the show, there had to be someone else that went...come on guys, chime in! :D

All are nice shots. In the last shot try slowing your shutter speed to put some motion on the propeller.

Yea. My base just sent off 2 F-16E's to fly with the Thunderbirds.
Gotta love em :P

If they were shot in action mode, that could explain why some of the shots are darker, and the lack of prop blur.
Good eye though, came our pretty good.

.
Naw, they were shot in shutter priority, 1/1200. Some are darker because some are into the sun and some are away from it.

Don't worry. My dad stuck a USAF sticker in Fat Albert (their demonstration C-130) when it came through his base. My Uncle, who is the Maintenece Master Chief for the Blue Angels, should be finding it soon. ;)
