Here are some more shots from my first weekend of lacrosse action. This is my first time shooting lacrosse and I am trying to shake off the rust from being in poorly lit, stuffy gyms all winter. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

I really like the color on these. Second pic is really nice. What lens did you use?

I image lacross would be a tough one to shoot if the light is on top since the helmet and facemask will cover most of the face.

I used the 400mm f2.8 on a 20D. You are right about the light, so I try to shoot with the sun at my back which helps keep the shadows off their faces.
