Opinions please....

Seems quite powerful for the bargain price of $89

I used it a few months ago and was satisfied with what it can do. However, once you are accumstomed to the way a program works it's hard to change. I have used PS for a couple of years and changing interfaces was difficult.

To be honest I don't think it matters which program you use as long as it has the features you want and need. Many people like PS, but I think it is only because it is the so-called professional standard. Corel's Photo-Paint, Picture Window Pro, GIMP (Linux and Windows) and countless others can do nearly everything PS can do. It's all about what you get used to using (IE WordPerfect and Word).

Norman Koren swears by it - he has an entire section on it here http://www.normankoren.com/PWP_intro.html. The rest of his site is very informative as well.

PWPro is a very nice program, I've used it a lot before I got my 10D with PS Elements (which I've upgraded to PS CS).

Good things are that it supports color management and 16-bit editing, but unfortunately it doesn't have layers and channels, which are very useful in Photoshop.
