I wanted a little advise on how i could make this picture better. It seem like the petals are in focus but the middle of the flower isn't. I would think it would be the other way around.

I hate to tell you this but I think the whole flower is out of focus. You may have been too close for the minimum distance of the lens you were using. I am guessing you used a 24-105L IS USM? If that is it...16" is the closest you can get. I think the flower is a spring beauty by the way. Welcome to the forum and keep shooting:)

I think the 2 far stamen are in focus as are the parts of the far petals, you need to decrease your aperture a bit to maybe up to f.16, did you use a macro setting as this would narrow you DOF quite a lot.

Yup she used a 24-105L ( ;) very perceptive :D ), but with an extension tube. As I recall her shutter speed was between 800 & 1000 so I think the advice about decreasing the aperture to f/16 would probably work very well.

You'll probably find that f/4 is pretty much useless for close up macros like that...even worse when you get into even smaller stuff. f/8-11 might do the trick on this one.
