Looks like they all got caught cheating on a test and are being made to sit in the corner. (reminds me of grade 7, don't ask)

Not completely!

I have a 21" Hitachi monitor (glass) on my desk and have had it for 4 years. It still is fantastic and shows photos better than any LCD I've tried. The depth of color it displays is really great.

I've had thoughts of replacing it with a 22" LCD or larger but just can't give it up as it does the job so great. So, I guess I'll use it for a while longer, as long as it works so well.

But, I still look at some of those large flat-panels with envy!

Thanks everyone. I had fun with them. They were sitting there for a few days and I brought in my camera and got a few different shots. Another one from a different angle has them outside the mens washroom because the trash can is outside the door, and a few close ups where it looks like they're talking to eachother.

We took approx 500 CRT's out of one of our customer service centres a couple of years ago over a couple of weekends - I think they took about 6 months getting the heating/air con back to normal with the sudden loss of heat generation from the old monitors :-)
