New shot of my Boxer. I am thinking this shot is too dark.. there was a tree behind me casting a shadow, that's why Owen's face is so dark and the background has different colours. What do you guys think of it?

Blacking out his head hasn't t done this shot any favors, it needed a fill flash. Nice composition though.

Like the idea of the photo but to me a bit dark round the head area.

Did you shoot RAW? If so, you could probably bring quite a bit more detail out on his face without introducing too much noise. Otherwise, it's a really nice shot.

No, the S3 IS doesn't have RAW.
