I took this pic on a recent trip to Chester Zoo, his case is usually empty, I was very surprised to see him, I spent about 20 mins just looking at him. He was quite interested in me as well, he followed me when ever I moved, I was a bit scared!
CC welcomed, thanks

Nice but I think it needed a tweak with levels and curves which I did for you hope you don't mind? He must of been hungry

I just moved the bars in on the histogram with the levels tool and then made a slight s bend in the curves tool. do you use Photoshop?

I wouldn't fancy being bitten, he was massive. not the longest snake, but his head was at least the size of my fist!

Great shot mate, love the DOF & focus - agree that the tweaked version is the way to go. The reptiles are an area of the zoo that I don't normally venture to (no idea why) must definately remedy that.

This guy isn't with the rest of the reptiles, he is in the Okapai bit, dunno why. But yeah you've got to get into the tropical realm. As well as the reptiles you've got the birds as well.

awesome gaboon viper! they don't have the most dangerous bite, but can inject so much venom when they do bite, it really doesn't matter
