Hi all,
What's your favorite photography book ? I'm looking for all kinds of books - about techniques, using equipment, methods etc. Recently I read the "Better Available Light Photography" book by Barry Staver and now I'm looking for more "photography read" - any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.

John Shaw, "close ups in nature", "nature photography". He is superb.

I'm reading Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. It's a great review. He gives lots of useful ideas for creative use of Aperture and Shutter Speed for different effects, as well as how to pick which part of a scene for metering.
Existing Light Photography, part of the Kodak Workshop Series is an excellent book as well.

I'm reading Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.
Hey, me too! :D
I also have Learning To See Creatively by the same author.

Thanks !
I found the "Learning to See Creatively: Design, Color & Composition in Photography" book (also from Brian Peterson) on the Web, how it is different from the "Learning to See Creatively" that you've mentioned ?

The Art of Bird Photography by Arthur Morris. Well written and some good info. Granted, at the time of wrtiing Arthur was shooting film but 99% of the book easily transfers to digital.

Michael Freeman "Image: Designing Effective Pictures" or simply "The Image", UK edition. Excellent reading on composition.
