This first picture is not one that would sell, because the position is all wrong but I like it because of its old time feel. The second one is more like what will sell to the cowboys, although I am sure this guy would like to see his toes turned out a little more. These were shot with a 100-400 lens.

Thank You for your comments. The rodeo season in California is just getting started so my timeing is a little rusty.

Lucky You Dale. I've got two months before things get rolling here. Thats the bad thing about rodeo everything has to be almost perfect for them to sell. A toe turned in just a tad to much no sale.

The season is starting and it hits California in the spring with a vengence. Sometimes I wish it would move just a little slower, before I know it spring will have come and gone and so will summer. Its the price you pay for working two sometimes three shows a weekend. I guess I should not complain because come winter we will be at the house crying about not have any shows.
