raw conversion in ps cs

Just purchsed the photoshop cs yesterday and when I load a rew image from my 300d/1d either, the photo is huge and the selctions are off my screen. This happens just in raw, I can see 1 box to check, when I do that it opens a psd file and everything is normal? can i resize the raw open utility?

you can resize the window by dragging on any visible edge of the window.

If you can't do this you could try the following;

1. window/workspace/reset palette locations

or

2. Delete the photoshop prefereces file.
This can be found under your documents & settings folder somewhere like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\8.0\Adobe Photoshop CS Settings\

the file is called: Adobe Photoshop CS Prefs.psp

One of those suggestions 'should' do the job
