Beautiful model and great poses.
However, lighting and setting are equally important, and I think you can improve upon both.
For example, the totally blown out background works quite well in the second shot, but it's just distracting in the first shot.
When you have such harsh, contrasty lighting to deal with, try to get rid of problems like the extremely hot spots in #2 on the right leg and right arm. Also pay more attention to the angle of the light hitting the face. In both shots the light appears to be coming in at a very low angle - the result is that there is not much 3-dimensionality in the facial contours.
Of the two poses, the second is much better, because in the first one her shoulders look very strained and uncomfortable.

First of all, she has nice skin tones, and she is beautiful. The lighting in the first image is good considering what you had to work with. Now let's discuss posing. The first pose is rather good. Her right leg crossing her left is wonderful, but I would liquify her rear upper leg a little as it has a distracting bulge. By placing her left arm directly under rib cage she could relax her left shoulder a little which would eliminate the "ball" look to her shoulder. Also had she stretched out and relaxed her right arm and hand it would have gotten rid of the ball there also and it would have made her hand a bit more feminine.
Pose # 2. I love the 45 degree angle of her body relative to the camera, and the 1-3-2 pose works well here. Placing the near knee a little ahead of the other knee looks better than having them directly side by side. I would clone out the sunlight spots on her thigh and arm. Her back and upper hip area are blown out (maybe you could clone in some good skin?) and her long beautiful hair needed a quick sweep of your hand, either all forward or all behind her but not both as it looks a bit unkept.
All in all you've done admirably well.

I like 'em both. Sharpen up her eyes in the first pic, though. Looks like the eyes in the second could use some sharpening as well.
