:)

thank you all very much for entering this week's Challenge

I truly loved all the entries, I have to say they were eggscellent
(I would have said 'excellent' anyway so no joking)

Congratulations to the winner # 1 Boxlock

absolutely love all about your shot. the composition, the colours of the silver paper and the straw
all made a lovely picture and a very nice nest for the eggs :)
a lovely touch to it all was the real egg placed there among the chocolate treats

# 2 Boutty

another terrific shot which took some time and energy to work with
the fork prodding the caramello egg looks great . the shadow makes it even better
as it was 1/13th maybe you used a tripod for this good and tasty balancing act
a very tiny gripe.......
would like a little more light on the front of the egg's silver wrapping

# 3 gabrioladude

a wonderful shot.
the clarity is perfect and the expression on the man's face really looks just great for the occasion

Alans 220

chocolate squares placed like it look delicious. a real treat
the left side is slightly blueish as though the flash went off or the light was on one side
the piece on the bottom right hand corner is perfect . all looks very tempting

with many thanks to you all

do your best and it will be wonderful

thanks and congrat to all the contestants!

If i had been the judge, the "fork" would have gotten the nod.

Please stand by for something "firey" in contest 114!

Thank you marie for a delicious topic and judging duties.

Congrats to Boxlock & gabrioladude and well done alans220. Not many entries during this busy holiday weekend, but the photo qualities did not drop.

alan, I just learnt today that Cadbury was originated in the UK. Does yours has a-glass-and-a-half of milk in it? ;)

Frank, I love the expression of your model! Great lighting as well.

Maureen, we hope you could join our fun challenge soon!

I took a similar shot as Boxlock's that morning, when submitting the image then quickly I went with 'plan B'. :p

Since I didn't enter this one, and maybe the entrants are too polite to mention it, might I respectfully point out, Marie, that the one you chose as winner should have been disqualified on two counts: size and border.

Marie, thank you for the placing and thank you to the others for their congratulations...

the "model" was my 25 year old son on Easter morning...

It is of no consequence if I am disqualified. Feel free to choose another, after all, this contest was about the pics, not who wins what......

does that mean I have to return the Prize money?

Hi all,

Marie, sorry that it has not been a 'pleasant' challenge for you, it should not be like that although in my opinion it should be the 'Judge' who imposes the rules.

Just to clear my name it was not me that has been in contact with Marie.

Congratulations to Boxlock for his winning entry and to all the others for their entries.

Must keep a look out for a Fire Engine during my travels!!!

Marie, sorry you had a rough time with your challenge, I am glad though that it was resolved rather swiftly so as not to disrupt the flow of continuity of the challenges. I apologize too for not having an entry - I just arrived from a trip to Maryland where we spent several days visiting relatives for the Easter Holidays. And I forgot my G6, too bad because my cousin had a lot of European chocolates for Easter! There's good news though, another cousin of mine sold me his largely unused G3 for $50 - it is in pristine condition as he hardly used it when he bought a dSLR. I pity the fool!

Congratulations on the entries, especially Boxlock for the first place. Welcome to the challenges too.

thanks Pio. hopefully its a case of 'alls well that ends well'
good that you and family had a break at Easter

you got a great bargain with the G3
both of you being content with the deal is all that matters

:)
