I printed a test and 5 of the 6 colors print out perfectly. One color does not print out at all on the nozzle check. I have cleaned the nozzles 5 or 6 times to no avail? Any answers? The printer is about 4 months out of warranty and cost about $100. Is it worth fixing...It is a 785EPX Epson.thanks

Absolutely!
I have an Epson 860 and could not get black to print. The nozzle had clogged. I cleaned and cleaned by using the utility but nothing. This was my own fault as you should print a page at least once a week.
What I ended up doing is removing the the ink jets and printer head. I then used a syringe from a inkjet refill kit and cut one of the spare plastic tips until it fit nicely over the ink jet. I then put some head cleaning fluid into the syringe and placed the cut tip over the ink jet and pressing firmly to form a seal, I then gently squeezed fluid through the jet until it came from the printer head.
I had just done this 3 days ago so it is funny this post came up. I have since printed with absolutely no problems.
I hope if you try this you are somewhat mechanically inclined and can work gently with small fragile plastic parts. Not a job for someone who is all thumbs. Also make sure you put down newspaper and lots of paper towel to soak up ink and cleaning fluid.
