Hello all,

Here is the logo I have been working on to accompany the release of my new website (still under construction). But this logo is the same color scheme as my website and will be the header of the site.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Thanks so much

Bryan

I like the idea of the flourish in the background. I'd use that to greater effect to symbolise motion if I were you.

I'd be worried about the readability of the text when the logo is smaller or used when faxing. Do you have a single colour version?

Definately got potential though

Nice, tho' I might be tempted to fade the gold a little

Yeah sorry, I forgot to change the opacity when I was done editing the "mim" ... it should be updated momentarily

So do I ... wierd.

My website is www.memoriesinmotionnf.ca/2 that i am working on now ... how do you think the color one looks up there?

Should I try and give the site a make-over and go white/black/orange instead of the dark theme? I have been considering it, this may be the push over the edge ... what do you think?

ah, tough one.

In isolation I prefer the bw logo, but I like your sites colours so maybe dont give up on the colour version.

btw, I dont think your site is loading properly as on the home page below the image it says Memories in Motion Home and then a big logo and then the word
Region. Beneath the logo are what appear to be the bottom of some letters

That looks so much better

I'd either drop the word "photography" or if you do want to keep it make it bigger so that it's the same width as the word "motion"

I'd make the gold a little lighter, but it's definately better

No.

Text loads and then an image appears to load over the top.

Colours have changed tho' :)

Yeah I'm working on that ... LOL

Any of you guys have any idea how I can border a page (i.e. that whole center par thwere all the content is) with an image (so as to have that page have a "shadow" around it)?

Bit o' Googling -

CSS option
Some methods of css box shadows don't always work from one browser to another. But this sites demo appears to - http://www.designdetector.com/tips/shadow.html - it works in both ie6 and FF1.5. View the page source code for the css used.

Images - typically you're supposed to place a shadow image strip along the edge of your "boxes." As to how, exactly, not personally sure - probably some kind of pixel positioning/float maybe - and not enough time right now to google that as well. :P

Great logo. In the color version I would suggest changing the opacity some more of the background text. It's still a bit noisy. The b&w version looks great!

And leave the "photography" part in. I like how the letter trail wraps around it.

Thanks guys for the opinions.

I have decided to go to the white look for the pages - check it out as I am working on it and let me know what you think:
