Managed to get these two pics at blacktoft sands last week. Would have liked the harrier to have been a bit closer but even a sighting of this bird does me let alone managing to get a picture of it. The barn owl was much more obliging. It flew straight by the hide.
Going for (hopefully) more of the same tomorrow.
Regards
Rick

Wow, I really like the owl shot. If I may ask, what lens did you shoot that with? Great in flight shot!

Hi we were over there Sunday but not as lucky as you we wish the hen and marsh harriers would come closer, what lens were you using.

I took the pictures with a canon 500 F4 with a kenko 1.4 tc attached, 1dmk11 n body.
It appears that the harriers are still roosting there so fingers crossed for tomorrow. (mind i shall be there all day!)
Cheers

Great in-flight shot, considering the lens and TC. I don't know how you guys manage to keep things in frame when they're in motion like that.
