I wanted to mess around with this picture but am afraid I've gone alittle over board lol.
The only thing i dislike about the picture is that you cannot tell what it is, its a sign half way into water...but i was still drawn to it even though i wouldnt be able to tell what it was is i was a random person.

Sorry kid, I cannot remember. It was done a few days ago. I should really record what i do!
If i come up with another image looking like this, I'll be sure to remember and let you know.
ah, I just had a light turn on in my head. I'm pretty sure I tried to achieve a lomo effect and played with it from there on. + vignetting.
sorry, thats all that came to mind. Lol.

If more people like it, I was hoping to use this on my website and achieve something along the lines of whats below. That particular image only shows when you roll your mouse over urban/art. once you move out of the circle, the 'home image' as i call it , appears.
You might as well comment on the looks of the page it self as this is what im planning for it to look like.

I did a quick attempt to recreate your effect. Here I duped the background layer, set the blending mode of the new layer at "linear light" then added a hue/sat layer and set the saturation to -57. Looks pretty close to me.
