I thought this the best place to put this post. Does anyone know web hosting sites that allow nudity not porn on your gallery and are they a good host?

I referred a friend to my host, http://www.Lunarpages.com and he hosts some stuff that is quite 'out there' and has never had any problems. Not only is it a photographer friendly site, they're reliable and very inexpensive!

Very not true, most don't. In fact they bury it in the use agreement when you sign up. You know, the thing that everyone doesn't read but hits the "I agree to" button. Here are the rules from Bluehost

We do not allow:

Pornographic sites - Pornography is defined by Bluehost to be sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.

Nudity (including photography and art sites) - Women must be wearing a top and bottom (not see through). Men must be wearing clothing on the bottom.

Escort services - Even if your intent is to just have escorts for social occasions. Dating services are allowed as long as they are kept clean.

Adult toy sites - Adult toys are any toys that are designed to be used in a sexual act.

Sale of adult materials - such as magazines, and just about any other adult item.

An exception is lingerie sites but these cannot show nudity or sell adult toys. If you have see through lingerie on your site then you must edit the pictures so that nudity is not shown.

The Edisonian PM'd this too me since he can't post here. Thanks Michael!

Hi,

I wanted to respond to yours post about hosting sites that allow nudity but I can't post in the Glam/Nude forums. http://************.com is an amazing company, I use them. They do allow nudity, in fact they allow adult websites. The bandwidth and disk space you get is crazy. Bandwidth starts at 1.6 terabytes a month, and it grows by 16GB a week. Disk storage starts at 164GB and grows weekly as well. They offer a huge list of features, you should check them out. The best way to pay is to prepay for a year, and I could probably find some coupons that reduce the price for you. And if you decide to go with them, please let me know since I could use the referral. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Michael

P.S. If you feel this would be helpful to others, feel free to post it in your thread.

Ah yes ... I should have mentioned I'm looking in the US. We have our hangups, but we have our perks too.
